Good morning! I’m SO excited to share this recipe today. Growing up in the Midwest, we ate Godfather’s pizza. My favorite pizza from there was the Taco. It is the best. I’ve been wanting to make my own for a few months now. I finally came across this recipe on Pinterest. While I was in Georgia, I decided to make it. It was a hit! So, so, so, good!! Even my picky eater mother ate it 😉
Not only was it so good, but it was super easy to put together.
Brown your ground beef. Add a taco seasoning packet.
Mix together refried beans, pizza sauce, and taco sauce. I was skeptical adding pizza sauce. It’s just weird. But, it works!
Prepare your dough. I used two packages of ready dough.
I prebaked the dough for 4 minutes. Add the sauce mixture, mozzarella cheese, and meat. Bake.
Add the toppings
We decided to add Doritos and hot sauce on individual slices rather than the whole pizza.
Not only was this pizza amazing the first time. It was even better leftover. I reheated it in the oven until it was hot. So good!
It was so good that we made it again. Two taco pizzas in 4 days! It’s that good 🙂
What’s your favorite pizza?
Good morning and happy August! It’s officially school month and I can’t wait!
Today’s recipe I just have one word…WOW! An amazing muffin that surpassed my expectations. Fluffy, moist, and packed full of flavor. So so so good!
This recipe comes from the I heart naptime cookbook.
I made two versions, one with coconut and one without.
The kids have been loving the plain, but still packed with flavor
I LOVE the addition of coconut. The flavors blend so well together.
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1-1/4 cups ripe banana, mashed
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1-1/2 cups chocolate chips
I stuck 12 in the freezer so I can pull them out and enjoy whenever I want 😉
I hope you’ll try them and enjoy them as much as we have!
Good morning! I’m officially changing Tuesday’s title to Tasty Tuesday. As much as I liked the Tasty or Terrible idea, I’m just not posting any terrible recipes.
This week’s tasty recipe comes from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe. I’ve been following her blog since 2009. She has so many tried and true recipes that my family loves! This recipe I’ve been making since 2011. It never fails.
The recipe calls for flour, water, salt, potato buds or flakes (from the box), yeast, and vegetable oil. That’s all! I keep a box of potato flakes on hand just for this recipe.
After letting the dough set for 2 hours, I roll out little balls
Then roll out the dough
Rolled out and ready to pan fry
A quick one minute dry fry
And you have perfect, soft, tasty wraps
We enjoy ours with sandwich meat, bacon, and ranch. So good!
Here you have a quick and tasty wrap. I hope you give it a try. Let me know if you like it too 🙂
Do you like asparagus? For the past three years I have bought bundles of asparagus but never cooked them. I’ve wanted to but was too intimidated when it came down to actually doing it. Since receiving the Damn Delicious cookbook and seeing this recipe in the book, I’ve been itching to make some.
She also has the recipe on her websiteThey were easy to prepare
And turned out perfect!
I encourage you to make that vegetable that has you intimated. It may turn out to be your new favorite side. They were a hit in my family and I already have them back on the menu for next week.
Do you like asparagus? What’s your favorite way to prepare them?
